Vancouver and the Lower Mainland
Neurodivergent-affirming, relational support for adults and teens in transition, grief, or overwhelm
DYLAN SPRADLIN, MA, MSW, RCC (they/them)
Sometimes what we need is beyond words.
I provide online counselling for teens and adults throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, with a focus on grief, neurodivergence, life transitions, overwhelm, and deeper relational work.
My approach is warm, relational, nervous-system informed, and depth oriented. I work especially well with people who are thoughtful, sensitive, neurodivergent, grieving, or navigating a period of significant change.
Counselling for Adults
Many of the adults I work with are highly capable on the outside while carrying a great deal internally.
You may be grieving, burned out, questioning old patterns, or beginning to understand yourself through the lens of ADHD, autism, or AuDHD.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what your nervous system is communicating, and understand what lies beneath the symptoms rather than simply learning to push through them.
I often work with adults around grief and loss, neurodivergent burnout, identity, relationships, life transitions, chronic overwhelm, and the impact of earlier relational experiences.
Therapy for Teens
Teens are navigating school, friendships, identity, family relationships, and increasing expectations all at once.
For neurodivergent, anxious, or sensitive teens, that can become exhausting.
My work with teens is collaborative and relational. I focus on helping them understand their emotions, nervous system, needs, relationships, and sense of self rather than treating them as a problem to be fixed.
Online counselling can also give older teens more privacy and autonomy by allowing them to meet from a familiar space.
Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy
For teens and adults discovering ADHD, autism, or AuDHD later in life, therapy can involve both relief and grief.
We may explore masking, sensory needs, executive functioning, burnout, relationships, identity, and the cumulative impact of trying to function in environments that have not always understood you.
The goal is not to make you appear less neurodivergent. It is to help you understand yourself more fully and create a life that fits you better.
I work virtually with clients throughout Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Surrey, New Westminster, and surrounding communities.
Adults who want more time and depth may also be interested in extended sessions or personal therapeutic retreats on Pender Island.
If you are looking for online counselling for grief, neurodivergence, life transitions, or deeper emotional work, you are welcome to reach out and see whether we may be a good fit.
